Shinobi Camera control
Camera control compatibility
Shinobi II and Shinobi 7 RX were designed to control a wide range of hybrid (photo + video) cameras over USB-C. They currently support models from Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Fujifilm, and Nikon, including popular lines like the EOS R and D-Series, LUMIX, Sony Alpha, Fujifilm X-Series, and Nikon Z-Series.
Support is continually expanding through firmware updates, and in most cases, your camera should work with Shinobi II or Shinobi 7 RX’s Camera Control feature if it supports tethered shooting over USB-C and is running the latest firmware.
A good way to check this is to see whether your camera works with the brand’s official tethering software:
Canon EOS Utility, Panasonic LUMIX Tether, Sony Alpha Imaging Edge Desktop, Fujifilm X Acquire, or Nikon NX Tether.
Cameras marked with * also allow for touch to focus.
